Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a quirky spot with unique rooms, some bright and some dark. The rooms are small and dusty with a musky smell, but the service is friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent for West London access and close to various transport options. The dining options are limited but satisfactory, and the overall value for money is decent.
Walking into this hotel was like stepping onto a movie set, all at a very reasonable rate of 50 GBP. I had to rearrange the furniture to find a plug for the kettle, and the bathroom was quite disappointing with a lack of any amenities other than a towel. Breakfast consisted of a Muffin, Croissant, small carton of Orange juice, and a vanilla drink left outside the room.
The hotel is in a great location close to Paddington station, Hyde Park, and not too far from Kensington Gardens and Buckingham Palace. The rooms have a quirky style, albeit a bit small, and could benefit from better maintenance. While the service was friendly for the most part, there were moments of inconvenience. The dining experience, served in Tupperware trays, was disappointing with basic and stale offerings. However, the value for the 'zone 1' area of London was decent despite some setbacks.
